Deerfield Island Park has partially reopened to the public as of June 28, 2025. The new walkways and trails through the newly expanded Butterfly Garden and the Mangrove Boardwalk are open. The restroms have been renovated. Many invasive Australian Pines have been either taken down and moved elsewhere on the island. or topped, or taken down and left to decompose so that new native plants can grow. The Coquina trail is still undergoing renovation and is currently not open to the public. The park will be open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm.
